Tsivouli Accommodation is a family-run, accommodation in Zakynthos, set among olive groves and overlooking the stunning Bay of Laganas. Reached by a winding country road, Tsivouli offers peace, privacy, and unforgettable sea views, making it an ideal choice for travellers seeking authentic Zakynthos accommodation away from the busy resorts.

Designed and built by Swiss architect Hans Oberli, Tsivouli is a stone-built complex arranged around a large, traditional courtyard with a central fountain, mulberry trees, hibiscus, and a spectacular bougainvillea climbing along the upper gallery. Opened in 2001, the accommodation was originally run by Hans and his wife Gill and is now managed by their son Piers and his wife Laura, who continue the tradition of warm, personal hospitality.

Rooms with Sea Views in Zakynthos

Tsivouli offers just seven thoughtfully designed rooms, creating an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Several rooms enjoy panoramic sea views over the Bay of Laganas, including:

  • A double room on the upper gallery with breathtaking views
  • A three-bedded room with a private veranda and sea view
  • A unique split-level room with a mezzanine sitting area
  • Two rooms facing the sea directly

All rooms are fully equipped with built-in cupboards, tea and coffee-making facilities, a small fridge, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and en-suite bathrooms. The interiors are white-washed with exposed wooden beams, while doors and windows are handcrafted by local carpenters, and wrought-iron beds and tables are made by a local blacksmith — reflecting the character of traditional Zakynthos architecture.
