A Farm with Olive Trees and Other Plants
We are surrounded by olive trees. We ourselves harvest 140 trees each winter, press our own olive oil and preserve table olives. On our farm we use no artificial fertilisers or chemical sprays. We also have orange and lemon trees, pomegranates, apricots, almonds and walnuts and abundant caper bushes.
Emus and Other Animals
Yes, amongst our animals we have 24 emus. Now almost 20 years old, they have been with us since they were ten days old. Their majestic way of walking, their beautiful, long, blue necks and unusual voices add to the birdsong from the valley below. On our farm we also have peacocks, chickens, rabbits, ducks, quails and a family of tortoises. None is for meat, just to enjoy.
